Central Venous Access

Interventional radiologists are trained to perform central venous access procedures, which includes subcutaneous port for chemotherapy, catheters for dialysis treatments, and catheters for long-term antibiotics and total parenteral nutrition (TPN). Typically, these access lines are placed under fluoroscopic guidance in the veins of the neck or chest.
